About Leslie

I got into the medical field by accident - literally

When I was a teenager, thinking about college, I was in a bike accident. I hit my head, had a seizure, and was taken to ER. As I was being wheeled through a hospital corridor, a thought came to me…. “I’ll be a nurse.” That was something I never would have dreamed of.

That event lead me to get a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. I really loved the science of nursing. I loved caring for patients, and understanding the physiology of what was happening to the body. I worked in medical/surgical, intensive care and cardiac care units. It would never have occurred to me that I would have an interest in a completely different modality of medicine.

I Was Skeptical at First

As an RN I was thoroughly skeptical of alternative medicine. It was not until I was in total desperation because of a medical issue that could not be treated through Western medicine, that I decided to try homeopathy. The results were so astounding that I became convinced of its efficacy as a “vibrational” or “informational” holistic medicine. Interestingly, the first two remedies I tried had no effect, but the third one was remarkable. It really addressed issues on the mental, emotional and physical levels. I felt so much better - less anxiety, irritability and stress, and the physical condition totally cleared up. So, I went on to attend the Pacific Academy of Homeopathic Medicine and became a certified homeopath.

More Changes

I happened to meet a British homeopath, John Boulderstone (Boulderstone Technique), who could “feel energy.” He trained a a group of colleagues how to sense where energy was flowing and blocked in the body, and how to use that awareness to release the blocks and resolve disease states. Thus my interest in energy healing, meditation, breath work, yoga, and quantum physics began. I love the balance and interplay of mysticism and science - the two sides of a coin.

Death in the Family

An incident that pushed me to my spiritual limits was the death of our 11 year old daughter, Genny. When she died I felt as if my leg had been cut off and I was bleeding to death. I felt as if I either had to grow spiritually to incorporate the grief and guilt, or I would die. I read many books about death and dying, and near death experiences of children and adults. I also referred to the Baha’i teachings on life after death. Miraculously, Genny appeared to me one day and resolved my feelings of guilt and despair. My in-depth search for peace and understanding opened intuitive faculties that have helped me transcend many of life’s deepest challenges.

Bringing it All Together - Reinventing Life

I have thoroughly enjoyed mastering vibrational, energetic, and quantum healing techniques, including Boulderstone Technique, Matrix Energetics, Reiki, Regeneration Healing, Breath Work, Angelic Healing, Heart Fluency, and Emotional Release Processing.

My clients get the benefit of traditional and alternative healing, and the spirtual fortitude that I have had to develop to reinvent my life when it has crumbled. I combine it all in a unique way for each person and trust that there are infinite possibities available to each of us. My greatest joy is to see my clients be able to create a new “good story” for their lives, and experience greater vitality, happiness, and health!
